Description:

ASTRO is a Multiple-Award (MA), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract sponsored by the Department of Defense. This vehicle is administered by the GSA, Federal Acquisition Service, Assisted Acquisition Service, and Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM). The ASTRO scope includes operations, maintenance, readiness, development, systems integration, support, and research and development for manned, unmanned, and optionally manned systems, robotics, and platforms, as well as the services that support those systems, robotics, and platforms. These systems, robotics, and platforms may be based on land, air, sea, and/or space. These scope areas are divided into ten pools. Boeing is an awardee in five.
