NASA SEWP V

Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP, pronounced 'soup'), is a multi-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicle focused on commercial IT products and product based services. MicroTech offers a wide range of commercial advanced technology including tablets, desktops and servers; IT peripherals; network equipment; storage systems; security tools; software products; cloud based services; telecommunications; Health IT; sensors; video conferencing systems and other IT, Communication and Audio-Visual products. Product based Services such as installation, training, maintenance and warranty and a full range of product based services are also available through SEWP.

The GWAC (Government-Wide Acquisition Contract) provides the latest in Information Technology (IT) products for all Federal Agencies. The statutory authority allowing usage of the SEWP contracts by the entire Federal Government is NASA's designation as an Executive Agent by OMB based on the Information Technology Management Reform Act (ITMRA) of 1996, now the Clinger Cohen Act.

NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center administers the contract and provides a program office, the SEWP Business Operations and Workstation Laboratory (BOWL), to process orders issued by user agencies and to provide pre- and post-order customer service. Through the use of SEWP V, users have a flexible means of meeting IT needs quickly, efficiently, and cost effectively.

The SEWP V contracts are commercial contracts, and the acquisition was conducted using formal Source Evaluation Board (SEB) procedures.

All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort-e platform. The GWAC is an IDIQ contract against which federal agencies can issue delivery orders for their specific requirements. The focus of this contract is to provide government agencies with a mechanism for quick ordering of needed IT commodities and associated commodity enabling services at equitable and reasonable prices.

The contract is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling amount of $750M. This award allows MicroTech to procure and deliver relevant Command and Control (C2) Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment, software and hardware licenses/maintenance primarily for the Department of the Navy; although nominal support of other Department of Defense and civilian federal agencies will be accomplished as the mission allows. Procured C2 equipment includes video & imagery systems, global positioning system equipment, intelligence support systems, intercom systems, tactical displays, tactical processors, and tactical workstations.
